FREEZE YOUR ASSETS
There have been some amazing training tools over the years. A training log, good gym bag, sturdy belt, food scales, shaker bottles and more. However, one that gets overlooked often is right there in your kitchen, your freezer.
It’s hard to deny the value and importance of meal prep. Regardless of your schedule or challenges, having meals prepared and at your fingertips sets you up for success. To add to that benefit, how about having what seems like an endless supply? That’s what freezing does.
I would submit that having a case freezer is a huge tool for any gym goer.
My wife and I used to have a small upright freezer that we purchased to store milk when our kids were nursing as babies. We soon switched to freezing all of the things, meats, vegetables, fruits, meals, you name it.
Keeping the freezer stocked still takes time to stock and prep but you can do it on your terms and find more times that are convenient. It’s likely over a 30 day period you will be able to find time to do massive meal prep versus each week or every three days. This lines up nicely if you do a big grocery haul every month.
Whether it’s a massive case freezer or simply what comes along with your refrigerator, use that ice chest to its fullest capacity.
