HABITS DRIVE
I love numbers as they bring clarity to the story of a lot of things. When it comes to progress with fitness, I like to gather as much data as possible to help see the big picture. However there is one group of numbers that always is the key indicator, which is the habit number.
Habits drive progress. Examples of this could include how often someone is going to the gym, the frequency of hitting their daily nutritional goals, how many hours of sleep they are getting.
I used to struggle with getting enough sleep. Once I identified this key habit I needed to lock in, I started tracking the number of hours I was sleeping. This helped me not just recognize and have visibility on how I was doing, but it also made this habit a priority.
The great thing about all of these habits is that they are very trackable and can be measured using numbers and data.
Tracking key impact habits is a game changer and leading indicator on success.
